Lightwave Computing has developed National Instruments based vision systems based on NI Compact Vision, PXI real-time and standard PC solutions.                

We helped Westmill Machine Automation develop software for their prototype LightSort veneer moisture sorting system.  The animation at left shows a system sorting veneer panels at 1000fpm using a high-speed line scan camera system.  More>>

We have experience with various camera technologies from analog RS-170 and NTSC area-scan cameras through to Firewire, USB and Cameralink based line scan camera systems.

LightWave Computing has also helped the Canadian Navy to develop a PC network that aided in correlating video records of Navy vessels with on-line data acquisition equipment that was recording the ship's susceptibility to undersea mines.
